Springwood students took part in two mock trial competitions this year: Magistrates (Years 8 and 9), and Bar (Years 10-13). This was a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to the legal system, as well as developing confidence and speaking and listening skills. Students were given a case and accompanying evidence, taking on various legal roles and acting out the trial in a real life courtroom in Norwich. Many of the students involved aspire to a career in the legal profession so this was an excellent opportunity.
