Springwood Sixth Form hold a Cyclathon in aid of West Norfolk Mind
41 county competition winners and their teachers gathered at Homerton College on Thursday 17th -19th March for the Poetry by Heart National Finals.
Our student, Maya Engledow, represented Norfolk in this event.
Year 13 spent Super Learning Day on Thursday 24th March 'preparing for university' by attending interactive workshops led by the UEA on student budgeting, sourcing employment/internships during & after university and preparing to leave home.
Students at Springwood Sixth Form enjoyed the chance to be involved in a political debate as part of the school's 'Super Learning Day' provision.
A selection of Springwood students from Years 8, 9 and 12 represented the school in a Technology tournament. The competition was organised by the King’s Lynn Rotary Club and the event was held at King’s Lynn Academy.

If you fancy a career in Hair and Beauty when you finish school come along on Saturday 12th March to the 6th Form Open day at Creations, Springwoods very own Hair and Beauty School.
The Alternative Ambitions students at the Sixth Form visited the Norfolk Skills and Careers Festival at the Norfolk Showground on 9th March.
On Friday 12th February our alternative ambitions students took part in a day long first aid course in order to boost their cvs to be fully first aid trained when they go into the world of work.
Springwood Sixth Form was delighted to welcome former student Rosie Hill on 12th February. Rosie left Springwood in 2010 and is now a trainee lawyer at local firm Fraser Dawbarns.
