Springwood completes the cup double in debut season!
Springwood under 12 Football team have continued their excellent form from the previous year, with a hard-fought West Norfolk Cup Final victory over main rivals KES. This was a delayed fixture from the previous academic year.
The Geography and Classics department are proposing to run a five day trip to Sorrento, Italy, from the 7th – 11th April 2016. The trip is initially open to Geography and Classics students in years 9, 10 and 12.
It was smiles all round for our Year 11s who received their first set of exam results in Maths and Science. Well done to you all and keep up the good work!
Students from our Sixth Form attended a Volunteers Fair last week, where they were able to sign up with a variety of companies based around Norfolk as well as Duke of Edinburgh and our own Department of Arts.
A warm welcome to our new Year 7s, who are settling in well now that they have 2 full days completed. You have all made a great impression so far – keep up the good work!!
Springwood High School achieved 56% 5*A-C (including English and Maths) this year. 70% of the students gained Mathematics GCSE at C grade or higher. 70% of the students gained English GCSE at C grade or higher.
