Boomerang Theatre Co. was started in 2002 allowing  young performers to experience the challenges of mounting a full-scale, original piece of musical theatre.  

 The young people perform the piece in the UK at different venues before embarking upon a three week tour of Australia, performing in  Melbourne, Mallacoota, the Blue Mountains and Sydney.

It is a unique and life-changing opportunity that requires not only skills in performance but an ability to commit to a project that involves teamwork and dedication.

The students involved act as ambassadors for their school, their region and for the UK as they are hosted by Australian families.
